“I had the privilege of working with Ana Stefan for six months as a private client, with weekly 1-2-1 sessions both online and in person. This journey came at a time of great change in my life, and Ana’s holistic approach to body alignment, focusing on both my muscular and skeletal systems while considering my lifestyle, work, habits, and overall well-being -was truly transformative.


Ana is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also intuitive in a way that put me at ease from the start. She always knew when to challenge me and when I needed restorative, regenerative sessions. Some of the restorative yoga honestly felt like it saved me at times! The balance she created helped me make steady, incremental progress without feeling overwhelmed. "I started working with Ana because I'd lost my connection with fitness over a 7-year period. Hitting 50 with very limited strength and no ability to tick off my bucket list of hikes and outdoor experiences was a wake-up call! I had some post-op physical challenges, with knee pain and one side of my body weaker than the other, and I was looking for someone to work with me to ensure that my return to fitness was injury-free, aligned, and balanced. My ultimate goal was to be able to go on 10km hikes comfortably, in hot weather, and to get myself to a stage where I could maintain a regular Pilates practice.

I began with a three-month trial period, which I extended very quickly as I knew I had found the right person to support me on my long-haul journey back to fitness and strength. Working with Ana has been an amazing experience. Over 11 months, I have found a new confidence in my body, strength, and resilience. We've also had great fun – which I wasn't expecting!

The key benefits for me have been consistent support, regular one-on-one meetings on a flexible rolling schedule, consistent reminders, and a mix of online and in-person classes to suit my schedule. There have been many phases to this journey, with my conflicting priorities such as work demands, COVID and recovery, and personal challenges impacting my progress. One of Ana's key strengths throughout is her insight and ability to adapt and be flexible around my changing physical and mental abilities over days and weeks. Having access to individualized support throughout these ups and downs meant that I never lost touch with the overall arc of rebuilding my strength and relationship with my body.

In Ana, I have found someone who is so much more than a body coach; she is a body mentor, a sense check, and a constant reminder to listen to my body and what it can do. Building strength and resilience kindly rather than angrily, having her check in and remind me about balance and breathing has been a huge luxury over a long and stressful year. I'm incredibly happy with my progress to date and can take it forward independently; however, I plan on continuing to practice with Ana whenever I can."
